Though the headboard comes from a history of utilitarian purposes like many furniture pieces, it has now moved to a aesthetic detail used in bedrooms around the world. There are as many to choose from and can be customized any way a person wishes.  When I think of headboards sometimes my mind reflects back when wood headboards were more common in peoples homes. This is still a very lovely look especially with the decorative carvings many of them have. This is a more traditional look but depending on the finish could become very transitional. |
